Aloha friends,
Jerry and I have picked a date for a Kanikapila here in Vacaville. It will be Saturday, October 18 at about 1:00 p.m. The potluck seems to work great, so that will be the plan. We look forward to seeing those who can make it. Please drop one of us a note via e-mail (jlsulle or dfpet) so we can get a head count and send directions if you haven't been here before. Yes our Kanikapila is still on. Looking forward to seeing friends again. I am e-mailing directions to those who plan to come. I said 1:00 p.m. in the initial post; then said noon in my e=mail to some folks, so anywhere around that time is fine.
We will do "potluck" so anything is welcome.
The invitation is again extended to anyone out there who can drive this far!!

Diana and Jerry,
We had such fun at your home, thanks for hosting the kanikapila. It was great seeing old friends, and boy, did we eat and drink. And sing and play. However, I did notice a lot of ukulele and guitar envy going around. Makes me feel I should check out the other brands some more. Or wait, I should remodel my living room and make some more room first...
Mahalo nui, makes me wish we all lived closer together.

I am not quite sure, being as old as I am, but everybody in those pix looked familiar AND *very* happy. Wish we were there (although not expressly invited, I am being presumptious as usual) LOVED the back of El Awrence's head! Also loved all that playable wood.
Having fun is fun. We are having frost.

P.S. I don't mind El Awrence at all.... has a nice "glide" to it.
Remember to send your Virtual Kani recordings back! You two are
at the the CORE of the recording (the middle anyway).
