Aloha Taro Patch Uke Fans... On Saturday, October 18th, I will be at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto again to present 2 new workshops for beginners and intermediate level players. Both classes will focus on finger picking melodies from popular songs.

Here is a brief description of the classes.
Ukulele Workshop/"Easy Pickings"
11am/2hrs/Beginners
Learn to embellish your playing by picking melodies from within the chords you are strumming. Fun and easy to do. The class will cover songs like 'Tiny Bubbles', 'Makalapua', 'Brown Eyed Girl' and more.
Ukulele Workshop/"Picking Your Brain"2pm/2hrs/Intermediate to Advanced
Learn to pick out melodies starting with simple devices and progressing to more complex technique. Class will cover songs like 'Pua Lililehua', 'Brazil', 'Kawika', 'Europa', and more.
