Anyone out there wanting to get together in Portland? I've been playing for about three years or so, mostly taro patch, but also Leonard's C and slack G. Not great but love to play.

I'M way down the state south of Gts Pass in Williams and west of Medford 30 miles..
I am making my second reso...when its done I'll give ya a holler
There are couple reso players down this way but mostly blue grass.. not much Hawaiian.. But I recently met one of the best slack key players I have ever met.. I believe he is an Island transplant ..and he gave me a tip on another uke player..
I also am gearing up a uke project...
So whats shakin in Portland

A couple of us might like to come up to Pdx some time from Eugene. Maybe you're too advanced for us, I don't know. I'll get in touch when I'm back up North.

Hey Ross,
No such thing as too advanced. Any opportunity to play slack key with others is well worth taking. Its all about the music, having a good time and learning.
Let me know when you get up this way next.
