Does anyone have reservations about strings tuned above standard... I had a bridge pull up when I went Bb Wahine one night...probably a pre-existing problem expedited by raised bass strings.
Now I have a Goodall with Sitka spruce and the Koa Back... No medium gauge by order of the Maker...JG. So is it more delicate than some?
I don't worry about raising just the B to a C --say for C or F tunings.
But I am not inclined to "tork" it much more--without good advice, (or lighter strings on the raised strings!)
I switch between standard, taro, and C tunings often, so like to keep it flexible.
Still this guitar is a great step up, and invites me to practice! Can't complain. G
