Does anyone have reservations about strings tuned above standard...
I had a bridge pull up when I went Bb Wahine one night...probably a pre-existing problem expedited by raised bass strings.

Now I have a Goodall with Sitka spruce and the Koa Back...
No medium gauge by order of the Maker...JG. So is it more delicate than some?

I don't worry about raising just the B to a C --say for C or F tunings.

But I am not inclined to "tork" it much more--without good advice, (or lighter strings on the raised strings!)

I switch between standard, taro, and C tunings often, so like to keep it flexible.

Still this guitar is a great step up, and invites me to practice!
Can't complain.
