This forum is fantastic! I just heard slack key going to Kona last week, and wow, I thought I'd have trouble finding resources. WRONGO!
I have been a long time guitar player, not great, but always loved to play fingerstyle, and always loved the islands. Dolphins are my passion and swimming with them in sacred Keleakekua Bay was transformational for me. I will learn what I can of slack key on my own for a bit, and then would love to get together with anybody that would be willing to pass on anything. Aloha Ahui Hou

Aloha Stardolphin! Plenty of room for more slack key players here! You may find plenty of slack key on the mainland, too, especially if you're on one of the coasts. Keep you eye on the concert/perfomance forum here at Taropatch.net. Good luck starting out. Everyone here will be very helpful. Jesse Tinsley |

Yes, welcome Michael. So who'd you hear play in Kona? Don Kauli`a?
There are other slackers in Colorado. And I think you get an occassional concert too.
Aloha. |

That's a great website Kona Bob. I've been homesick for Kona ever since I left. |
