I'm trying to decide whether going through junior high and high school with the name "Will Hung" would be a good thing or a bad thing.

Do these guys always give you such a hard time? Why do I get the feeling you started it?
If I really do meet Keola Beamer, I will probably suffer a massive coronary, but what a way to go! I don't do well with things like that. I get catatonic and stand there slobbering. You have such poise. I think it has a lot to do with my mental idea that he is amazing, and I'm just a moron who can't chew gum and boil water at the same time. It's too bad God put all those thumbs on my hands instead of fingers.
My musician friends do the same thing. If they LIKE you, they razz the living daylights out of you. I have heard in Hawai'i, they go around hugging each other. Well, I will confess to getting my share of hugs when they have a weak moment, like once every three months.

Okay bad joke.
William Hung auditioned for the TV show American Idol, a reality TV show, searching for (and creating) America's next pop star. Unfortunately, William was so bad, people considered it good. The judges rightfully never allowed him to move on beyond the auditions but the media (TV, print & internet) made William a star, kind of. Although it seems his 15 minutes of fame has been a long 15 minutes. Go William! |
