Hi,
a while back i overstayed a 3-week vacation on maui by about 8 months  During that time i played @ the maui brews open-mike nights (1st hosted by wayne & ed subsequently by scott & buddah) and had regular gigs at the pioneer inn. The maui brews evenings were allways video-taped.. and on one particular night i was in great form doing a few ki ho`alu tunes and one of my own "the paranoid amsterdam blues" with crowd interaction,laughs etc...
I'm wondering if anyone's living in/near lahaina, is occasionally in the maui brews and can get the video-man's email address so i can organize a copy.. then i'd be one very,very, gratefull picker indeed.

I live in Central Maui, but have a friend who lives in Lahaina and he frequents Maui Brews...so I'll ask him if he knows how to contact the video guy for you.

I wrote my friend and here's his reply....
K - There were people shooting video like Wade or Niles but they weren't
there every fri and they weren't paid by maui brews. I remember that guy
and his friends playing tho. I'll ask those guys when I see them. K[
I'll let you know when I find out any more.

you can fire me off a mail and we can make room for
important forum stuff. Dunno if i met your friend or not
but i was on maui for about 8 months and excepting for
sleep had a guitar strapped to my back pretty much all day,
picking on front street,the beach, under the banyan tree..
