Which Bee Gees song did Hui Ohana cover? Maybe there's more than one, I don't know; pick any one
Hint: The answer is someplace here on TaroPatch.
Winner gets a copy of SF's Na Leo Nahenahe performance from this spring on CD(if I ever get it finished!).

I say I'm not eligible but looks to me like Dean is correct according to online sources. Hui Ohana recorded that song.
But is that the song mentioned at Taropatch.net? |

Nah, after being stuck in the 50s for so long, I was just trying to push my post numbers into the 60s.
IIRC, and it gets harder and harder, but at that time on the rock an especially vapid cover version by Olivia Fig-Newton was really popular, maybe even more than that of the BGs'. Perhaps that was the inspiration for this?
Of course, my chronology may be completely out of whack.

OK, Dean, what slack key tuning did Barry Gibb use for most of his songs? |

I'm impressed (except Jerry tunes up to E, right?). |

Nah, I asked and learned about his tuning right here.
When I saw him last fall in Tokyo, he was capoing on the 2nd fret for key of E, using one of those humongous Keyser jobs.
BTW, that was one great performance; had the money-and-strife shedding water on a couple of numbers. Usually, I don't much like uke-against-slack-key, but that was truly a tight, perfectly balanced trio--almost made me what to go out and get one off those oversized rattlers for myself (not that I would ever be able to play uke like that in this lifetime).
Ross and C, tanks for the stroll down memorex lane.
