You can find Hawai'i Aloha transcription in THE SECRETS OF CONTEMPORARY SLACK KEY GUITAR(Daniel Ho & Steve Sano)
It is written with G KILAUEA tuning. You can buy this book through this website.

There is a transcription in Hal Kinnaman's "Teach Yourself Slack Key Guitar" book. He also sells a pair of companion tapes for the book. I got mine on Kaua'i 2 years ago. I don't know if they are still in production.

I got it in a woodworker's store in Hanapepe. While in Kaua'i, be sure to look up Doug & Sandy McMaster. They give slack key presentations usually on Fridays 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hanalei Community Center. Check out their website at http://www.alohaplentyhawaii.com/
Also, if you are in Hanalei at sunset, stop by the Hanalei Pavilion Beach park.
My wife and I are going to Kaua'i from 7/27 to 8/12. Maybe we will meet.

Thanks for your information. And I will be sure to stop by the Hanalei Pavilion Beach park at sunset time and look up to Doug & Sandy Mcmaster. I have their 3 CD's,and there are one of my favorites.
We(my wife and two kid's)are going to be there from 8/21 to 8/25. So I'm looking forward to meet you somewhere maybe next time.
BTW, I hear that I can look up Cindy Combs at Kaua'i.Do you know or does anybody know where can I listen her slack key?

Check her website for when she plays at Hanapepe Cafe. She's also been playing Grinds Cafe in Eleele on Saturdays. Try sending her an email before you go too.

I spoke with Hal and the book and tapes are still available. The book is $10 and the tapes are $20 (for 2). Shipping is $2.50. He doesn't take credit cards so send him a check or money order if you're interested.
