Aloha All,
As if we didn't have enough temptations for summer slack key vacations there is yet another that seems to be a closly guarded secret so far. Ledward Kaapana is holding the "Aloha Acoustic Workshop" in Waikiki at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Hotel from Aug.16th thru Aug.20th. Guest/instructors are to include Led (slack key guitar), Jeff Peterson (slack key guitar), Paul Togioka (slack key guitar & banjo), Kimo Hussey (ukulele), Kuuipo Kumukahi (Hawaiian mele), Karen Aiu (hula), Bobby Ingano (steel guitar)and Olelo(story telling( Laka. Milton Lau is organizing this event and you can get more info about price and reservations by emailing him at kahokuproductions @ yahoo.com. Reservations are limited so make your plans accordingly. I have mine. I will be broke after two camps this summer but oh so happy.
