So I've held a United airmiles ticket that takes me from Denver to Honolulu (in June), and has a return from MAUI the following week.
I need to check connections to and from Maui and possibly Moloka'i.
What's dat Aloha number? Will I be able to book one-way inter-island travel at a decent price? Sometimes it's a deal breaker on the Mainland.
What's the best way to get from Honolulu to Moloka'i or Maui,
and/or from Moloka'i to Maui.
I'll call Aloha and Hawaiian....but what's the mo' betta way here?
Also, Aloha was good with a carry-on guitar...how are the others--especially the smaller?
And Did I hear talk of inter-island ferry service? G

Sarah and I were going to go over to Molokai from Maui (and back) with Kevin a few years ago, but Life intervened and we had to scratch the trip. But, we considered all the ways of making the trip and the ferry clearly won out. The most important thing for us was the *experience* - seeing all that beauty slide by at a moderate pace. Then, too, there is nothing like the hassle of air travel. You just get on and enjoy, and, while you have to be at the terminal a short time ahead, it is nothing like the hurry-up-and-wait of air travel. Also, you could bring a ton of stuff with you, if you wanted to, or had to. We plan to do it in the future, even if only just to do it.
