Aloha SoCal Gang!!
April is shaping up to be a great month for Slack Key, and music in general. Aside from March 25th's open mic at Kealani's in O'side tonight, April's events are looking pretty good too.(I forgot the dates though)
* Eddie Kamai's concert on the 22nd?
* Kevin Browns concert, I think on the 28th?
* Kanikapila's at Auntie Nancy's house on the 2nd? (with Hapakid visiting)
* Kanikapila at Dusty's house, (with Reid & Sara vistiting)
*Another open mic at L&L BBQ in O'side
* A possible second gig at Kealani's in O'side
...I'm getting calouses just thinking about it. Yikes!!, should be lots a fun.
Get a comfty seat cushion for your okole, and file down those thumb picks, get ready to jam-jam-jam

Holy Cow!!!
Good thing I stopped practicing long enough to visit the 'Patch!!
Eddie Kamae will be here on the 21st, Kevin will be in Carlsbad on the 22nd, HAPA will be here the 23rd, and the kanikapila w/ Sarah and Reid is on the 24th.
In addition, Jake Shimabakuro will be here on the 8th, downtown LA, and Makaha Sons in Redondo Beach on the 9th. Tickets for the last 2 items are available through Doug at Island Legends.
Absolutely everyone is welcome at the kanikapila next Saturday to welcome HapaKid and detox him from "It's a Small World". Bring your Ukes, bring your guitars, bring your aloha spirit!!

| I think we've decided to move the Reid and Sarah gig to the 23rd. Check with Dusty. Basically , so no one has to leave early for work the next day |
