I'm just recovering from an overuse injury of the finger and am wondering if it's possible to put lighter guage strings on my tenor 8 string ukulele. I've looked around and see only 1 size for sale, but was wondering if strings for another instrument in a lighter guage would work to take some of the strain off my index finger during barr chords. Has anyone had experience with this?
