Craig Patchett has not been around taroppatch.net as much lately since he's been busy working on his podcasting project www.godcast.org. Had the pleasure of meeting Craig and his daughter Rachel over pizza, mounds of pasta and then dessert at Serendipity. It was a fun time.
Just wanted to let the `ohana here know that Craig is well and hoping to balance his time better so that he can start practicing ki ho`alu again.
It's true, after a mere 3 years of knowing each other through TP (I don't think we've even spoken to each other on the phone prior to this), Andy and I finally met face-to-face. I even have a photo to prove it, which I'll post as soon as I have a chance. No slack key was involved (unless you count Jeff Peterson's new CD in the car on the way from Rockefeller Center to dinner) but there was plenty of great island food! (Manhattan Island, that is.)
Oh, and Andy forgot to mention that his lovely wife Lynette was also in attendance. Rachel was infatuated with both of them so that means I can keep them.
Craig My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can.
(Lousy color in the original so I gave it an "old-time" feel. The location is Serendipity restaurant in Manhattan. My daughter Rachel is the photographer. Apparently I have the neck of a giraffe. Time keeps on ticking.)
