More details at www.seattleukulele.org
If you'd like to meet up with the growing contingent of `ukulele players in the Seattle area, but have been wondering when might be a good time to jump in, our next gathering might be what you're waiting for. On Sunday, August 7, we'll be having a picnic at Woodland Park, from 10 am until dusk. Details on which picnic shelter and what to bring are on the website.
It doesn't matter what style of music you play, how good you are, how long you've been playing (even if you've just begun and want to learn more than the three chords you know now) - if you play a uke, you're encouraged to join in. Our song circles have featured everything from pop hits of the 1930s-1970s, Hawaiian and hapa-haole classics, camp-fire type songs, even originals.
