Aloha all,
I'm not sure if this came up already (I've been neglectful the past few months, new computer). But Herb Ohta Jr, Keoki Kahumoku, and Herb Ohta SENIOR are coming to Santa Cruz, California on the 23rd of September! (I think, can't find my calendar, but it's Friday). Can't know which song you've been hearing...
Between the 2 of them, Herb and Herb Jr have released what seems like a gazillon recordings.
You'll find most of them on these pages -- and you can listen to soundclips of most tracks, if you have RealAudio installed on your computer:

Kenny -- I just checked your site, and discovered that you also are here on Kaua`i...so if you've been listening to the KKCR morning Hawaiian music shows, you're hearing mostly the new Herb Ohta Jr releases. But our overnight music is on computer and playing the station's entire Hawaiian music library (over 19,000 tracks!) -- including all of Ohta-San's CDs.
