Any opinions on who makes the best, most padded, gig bags? I found out that Summit recently went out of business and Incase has stopped production on their guitar cases.

What do you like? And why?

The ones that seem to get the best reviews in the varous guitar forums are Reunion Blues, Blue Heron, and Colorado Case Company.

I've got a Blue Heron and it's a beaut. It's also stood up to many years of serious road schleppage.

Thanks Mark. Good to know first hand. I've read good reviews on Blue Heron, Colorado Case and Reunion Blues. All expensive but I guess you get what you pay for?

Andy,
I just spent my first full day with a new Ritter Ritterrevolution Super-Pak. I really like it. Well built and looks very cool too. I suggest that you check them out. The guy I got mine from sells on eBay. I think he deals mostly in `ukulele stuff, but if you want his contact info let me know.
