Aloha everyone -
Like you, I have been transfixed and appalled at the devastation wrought by the recent hurricane. Here's an easy way to do something about it:
I have joined a program through on-line retailer CD-Baby to donate 100% of the profits of my CD, "The Water is Wide," to the Red Cross in a special fund earmarked for disaster relief.
Here's your chance to pick up a nice CD for your collection, or to give as a gift, while making a cash donation. (I've edited this because CDBaby is matching the gift.)
Just follow this link: http://cdbaby.com/cd/marknelson

Big heart, Mark. Mahalo.
I also urge people to check with their companies... some may do donation matching. Make your dollar go a touch further for those in need. |

Also bear in mind that if you're short on cash, blood and clothing are also needed. Prayers are cheap too! |
Craig My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can. |

Mahalo to everyone who's responded -- thanks to your generosity CDBaby is temporarily out of stock of "The Water is Wide."
I'm sending a box out today, so try again in a couple of days.

Aloha, Mark! Kumu, you lead by example, so I'm following your lead and have done the same with my CD on CD-Baby, "Sweet And Sacred-A Fragrant Offering". And for those of you who aren't aware, this CD is made up mostly of my Slack Key arrangements of well-known old hymns, so you can now purchase it for a good cause, and pray along while you're listening. Aloha Kakou from sunny Buffalo! Bill |
