Aloha nui loa!
I am new on this group, but I wanted to tell you about a great instructional DVD you might want to check out if you haven't already. It is called 'Teaching Beginning Ukulele' and is put out by Lamb Production. The instructor is Keoki Kahumoku.
I want to a performance by Keoki, Daniel Ho and Herb Ohta, Jr. last week in Santa Barbara, CA and they were great. Among the items for sale were this DVD and another by Keoki called 'Hawai'ian Slack Key Guitar'.
This DVD is great, it has all the stuff I have been searching for on the various Hawai'ian strumming rythms such as ipu, as well as fingerpicking and combinations of strumming and fingerpicking. It is a great DVD, well worth the price, which was $25 at the show. Online you can get it at www.thegtw.com.

| That site has all sorts of DVD's. I'm sure the Ray Kane DVD has been discussed here already, but I was surprised to see it. Thanks! |
