Aloha all,
Last Friday marked the 4th birthday of this web site. Each year I am surprised that this site has grown well beyond my expectations. Indeed, you all have made this a fun, interesting, aloha-filled community.
Mahalo for sharing your mana`o and aloha here. You have made this a unique place on the Internet, and I wanted to thank you.

Congrats Andy.
Now, 4 years is a long time.
A very long time.
Plenty long enough to have implemented a Slack Polka section.
Don't try to stop me. I've had 4 cups of coffee and will be quite difficult to shut up.

Patrick Landeza steered me to this site. He gave me a 2am private lesson after a concert (Cyril Dennis K. CIndy Combs) here in Fairbanks on Feb. 13, 2004. I made my first post to this site on Feb. 14. It has been a wonderful valentine gift to myself.
I would like to thank Andy and all the nice folks on this site....oh,heck, even Piff and slkho. You have all given me so much hope, encouragement, feedback, information, and, most important, friendship.

Hey, that must be a loaded question. As best I can tell, first post was from Lawrence which makes sense because he was also the first registered member.
