Mahalo to all that braved the crazy drive, altitude, rain and snow! @ #$ to come to my place tonight. I had such a great time - I'm still in the clouds!!!

Jean - I really enjoyed your original music...... and back up.
Don - really glad you made it - and the songs you sang were great!
Kory - you are the best! Hopefully your tutoring will help get us up to speed;

fyi, I plan to have a luau at my place in August and I'm hoping that we can all get a few songs put together to perform for ourselves at the event???? Hope some of you might want to be a part of that. See you all at Jean's in a couple weeks.

Aloha,

Hili

P.S. New name for my place is Mauna Hili! according to the gang.

Am writing a new mele . . . so far I got this much: "The snows of Mauna Hili" . . . feel free to add to it, 'cuz I'm thinking it's still a bit short . . .

What a great evening! Believe it or not, yesterday it was close to 80 degrees in Seattle/Tacoma . . . and then tonight we played Hawaiian music while watching a fair amount of snow come down!

Oh yes, and the grinds were wonderful . . . thanks Hili & Jenn for the ono eats and hospitality.

I love making music with you guys!

Don

Was TOO GOOD! Only good fun! Mahalo again for da great time an' ono grinds! I looked up "Hili" in my Hawai'ian dictionary--one of the definitions is "braided". Could this be a cryptic reference to the sinuous road leading up da side of Squak Mt? And 1/2 inch of snow and almost May!
Dr Cookie--I t'ink da snows of Mauna Hili are jus' da rice an' long rice at da guys hale, shining in da sun. Nex' time!
