Raymond, picture a dog named Boo licking your face.... (I think that's what Dave was referring to.) That was such a great evening. My hubby and I spent the night, as it was just too long a drive after all that wine and food. We ended up talking to Bwop until after 1:00 AM, then were treated to a fantastic breakfast on the back deck, watching the red-shouldered hawks soaring and enjoying wonderful conversation with the family. And Boo the dog chasing off a deer.
Bwop and Melinda, thanks again for the warm hospitality. See you on Maui in a couple of weeks. Whee-ha!
Me ke aloha, Julie

Hey Peter and Melinda, (and all you other guys too) thanks for the great "kani". Sorry I had to leave so early, I really think I could have played all night cause the music seemed to just be getting better and better. A hui hou, Allan |

Mahalo Peter and Melinda for hosting a fun party and kanikapila. Boy was the food ono--every time I passed the table there was something new that I had to taste!
It was a blast getting to kani with everyone. We had a good mix of instruments: Slack key guitars, regular and baritone ukuleles, bass, and steel guitar. We even had some hula.
I had to chuckle after reading Bobby3dog's note above. To clarify, his "leaving early" was 12:00 midnight (he started playing at 3:00P). Hard to believe the time flew by that fast. Too much fun!
Hope to get together with you all soon.
Doug
