I recently heard a cut from this album on WFMT, and went out and bought a copy. It is a very sweet, somewhat old fashioned, absolutely beautiful set of guitar duets. Very high recommendation to anyone who likes classical guitar and to anyone who wants more ideas about arranging for 2 guitars. I got it cheap from Amazon.

"Granados, 12 Danzas Espaniolas," Angel & Celedonio Romero, Telarc CD-80216.

So does it sound perhaps a little bit like Los Panchos,
being that these are spanish dances?

Lawrence,
As you know, Panchos (one of my favorite groups,) do mostly boleros, sung with accompaniment. Gill's requinto work is "to die for." The Romero recording is instrumental and "classical," though I hesitate to use the classical/popular distinction - a lot of what we call classical pieces were popular music when written.

Classics were called "classics" because that what they were. Non-pickers just got over reverential and snobbish, a human tendancy.
Speaking of boleros, Valerio Longoria was the first Tejano accordionist to play and sing boleros.
