I'm pretty sure I know the Talk part but the rest I am a little cloudy on... Seriously now, I was playfully needling you... that's why I included the smiley. I though it would help show my intetions. Let's face it, your comments did have some very significant historical value (I am still kidding). I know so more about Okolehao now than I ever did, I mean it's the kinda stuff a mainland haole boy could never get from no book learnin'. Another way to explain... I saw your comments like this: have you ever seen the cartoon where Donald Duck explains american history to his grandchildren? Funny stuff. One exception--I ain't tellin my freinds about the McHale connection. aloha Bob |

RE: Isa Lei
The English lyrics on the weblink are more or less the usual ones, save the reference to the Sonaisali Resort:
quote: Isa Lei, the purple shadow falling, Sad the morrow will dawn upon my sorrow; O forget not, when you're far away, Precious moments at Sonaisali
The "real" chorus has the final line:
"Precious moments, beside dear Suva Bay."
I have a copy of the Fijian lyrics somewhere (can't find 'em right now, dang) and they do not mention the resort, either. Not surprising, considering.
I'll try to dig 'em up for ya.
Real pretty song.
cheers,
