There is a set of tabs floating around that Paul Togioka did (Open D). Not sure what the "permission" issue may be. I think Mike Ele and Keith Marzullo have this version (I've seen each of them play it).

A number of years ago I wrote to Ozzie and asked him for the tabs to Ku`u Home o Kahalu`u (and a couple of other songs). I'm not sure where that puts them as far as copyrights go. I'm probably going to go see Olomana next Saturday, I'll try to ask them on break. If they're cool with it, I can mail you a copy.
