Instead of traveling with an instrument, Paul suggests he would rent one when we get to O`ahu. (He gets kind of spazzy if he goes too long without touching guitar striings) Any suggestions of places to call? We will probably be staying Waikiki area.

| I've never tried to rent one and don't know if they do but try Island Guitars in Ward Center. The another larger store is Easy Music. Island Guitars was my favorite guitar store when I lived there. Or you might try one of the smaller places like Coconut Grove in Kailua on the windward side. They might make you a special deal. Both places sell used instruments too. Or maybe some generous TP'er will offer to loan you one! |

Just my two cents, but Gator makes a $60 flight case that has served me well on numerous back and forths from the islands....
I guess I prefer the familiarity of my own guitar.... |
