November 16th is Aunty Genoa's last birthday celebration this year which is a fund-raiser for the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame. It is being held at the Ala Moana Hotel and is a swell buffet dinner and great entertainment by Melveen Leed, Obrien Eselu, Raiatea Helm, Gary Aiko, Natalie A`i Kamau`u, Kealoha Kalama, HMHF Serenaders, Pali and Pomaika`i Keawe Lyman. Oh, to be in Waikiki for such a stellar and wondrous event! And how gracious of Aunty Genoa to use the celebration of her birthday to help raise funds for the Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame.
