Ke Kali Nei Au with a female falsetto singer? The majority of recordings that I've heard are guys singing the tune.

Ray and Elodia Kane sing this song in the classic way.

Alfred Apaka made a recording with a female singer singing the high part, too.

There are lots of versions, especially older albums (pre-1970 or so):

The ray and elodia version is beautiful. about six months ago a friend and i worked up a version of this for a wedding, and did we need help with the harmonies! i used this version and the hui 'ohana version. it's much better when sung with a man singing the male part and a woman singing the female part, but dennis sounded good anyway :)

aloha,
keith

The Ray and Elodia duet is my favorite.

thanks everyone for the help. I thought there was a recording with just a female falsetto? When I tried the samples, I heard the guys singing the part but sometimes the sound samples didn't let me hear the female part.

Mahalo,
Mark
