Congratulations to Eddie Kamae -- just announced as recipient of a 2007 Nat'l Endowment for the Arts Fellowship as "musician, composer, filmmaker"!!

Oh, I do hope the award will help Eddie & Myra make more films. What they have done so far is so precious. Congratulations Uncle!

I've seen two of Eddie's documentaries. He's done a real good job of it. Saw the one on Sam Li'a and his second one. I'm glad he's keeping at it and most certainly deserves the award ... to make more movies.
