This wonderful treat is grown on the Big Island. Yes, I know it is expensive. Some things in life are worth it, and this is one. It will last you a while, if you just treat yourself to an indulgence like for Sunday morning breakfast.
I do believe in supporting businesses in Hawai`i that are agriculture related.
All I have got to say is that this honey is amazing. I could eat it straight out of the jar, but then it wouldn't last me very long. I love it on a nice toasted bagel or English muffin. I've used it in my homemade vanilla ice cream.
