It was great playing with you and Shirley last night! And bringing some family made it so much better. You are all neat people - especially your mom. Thanks also for bringing your professional playing into my hale. And for leaving behind pupu's that will keep us going for a week and good feelings that will last us much longer. Andy, of course, shares in these feelings. So I hope you are snug on the Big Island when you read this and that you and Shirley and the ohana will see many Happy Days!

A hui hou,

Mark E

P.S. And mahalo to you, too, Gregg for getting us together. As you see, you engineered another success!

M.

Thanks to you and Andy too, Mark. Your home is a wonderful place. And a big Mahalo to Retro for being the middle man. Taropatch is an invaluable network for finding people who love Hawaiian music wherever you travel!
I definitely plan to keep traveling. Meeting people (especially musicians) is the best part of travel.
Aloha,

I am so glad to see this thread! After getting contact details to different folks, I wondered if anything ever came of it - and now I know. Thanks, all - you just made my day! =Gregg=

Aloha Andy!

I may get to NJ in the Fall. If so, I will definitely get in touch. Thanks once again for Taropatch which gets us all together. Truly an ohana.

I regret not having met you this time. Maybe there'll be other times. I may be on the Orchid Isle in Feb '08. My daughter lives in mountainview and may be moving to Pana'ewa.

Aloha E Al -

I see you are on Bainbridge. If you ever get up to Sequim, my playing partner and I would be most happy to meet and play together with you. Do let me know. My phone number is 360-681-5080.

Sounds good I wrote your number down. I ajm with thumbstruck and slipry1 and retro at Kona Kitchen sometimes. We are having one on Aug. 11 starts at 9 AM and we have breakfast too. So if you are in the area come on down. I'll be the dude with the pony tail.
