Wow! Basil Henriques!

Folks, I think he's being modest - he's one of the UK's top guys.

Basil, I've heard your playing on your web site and it's very beautiful. If I could play a tenth as well I'd be a happy man.

Perhaps the steel fans on here would like to check out your web site? I think you should put it up.

I'm in the UK as well, by the way, (Sheffield). There's not many people with an interest in Hawaiian music that I know. Welcome to the Taropatch. I'll be in touch!

Hi Basil, no I don't know John personally, although I believe that we have both been in attendance at a couple of Bob Brozman concerts in Sheffield. In fact that's where I heard my first Hawaiian song and first Hawaiian tune.

I''ve got to dash now - I'll be in touch soon I promise!

Basil - very nice music. Thanks for sharing it with us, and welcoome to Taro Patch. I see you have played with Foster and Allen. Wow! They are very good. I saw them live here in Cleveland, Ohio several years ago. It was a great show.

Welcome to the Patch Basil!

I am not a steel player myself but I have worked with one, from time to time.

This would be Bob Brozman, aka "Running Man", mentioned above.

Thanks for the offer to host files, I might take you up on that soon.

Be seeing ya!

Me too! Are you the person who put the Jerry Byrd/Mary Robbins video on YouTube? If so, how do I get a copy? You can e-mail me the answer. I've looked at them many times because the camrea gets right down on Jerry's fretboard so you can see what he's doing!

This forum does allow for [url] tags. I posted my answer here. I guess the internet age has everyone conditioned for instant gratification. I was away from the computer yesterday so replied about 24 hours after your post.

HUH?

Funny, I have not read any "attacks". I've read only compliments. Am I missing something? I feel as if I'm back in elementary school ...

Why post something you can't talk about? Keep the attacks out of this forum and if they're coming from someone in this forum, out them! and get rid of them.
