Aloha...been gone a while but still working the tunes. Tonight, a friend brought over a Martin J-40 for me to play. I have played a lot of Martins and never have been blown away by any of them. Sure, they are nice, but in the vernacular of the Ford/Chevy BS, I would always say I am a Taylor man (gotta 810). Well, I got my socks blown off. Now, I gotta eat some serious crow. What a sweet slackkey box dat is. Got my nose stuck between the strings sniffin the rosewood dust. Tone? TONE? Wow!
Lust at first chime.
Well, gotta go. J-40 is doin a sleepover, gotta get her tucked in for the night.
