Paul and I are starting to plan our 2008 hele. We are thinking O`ahu again because we want to be able to see Uncle Eddie, which we did not get to do this past May. As far as when to go, I thought we would check and see when various things are happening. Last year we went for Lei Day.
Does anyone know of any festivals, etc., that have firm dates so far planned for 2008? Like the Slack Key Festival or the `Ukulele Festival, or whatever.
Mahalo.

You can contact Milton Lau for the dates of the 2008 ki ho`alu festivals, via the festival website: http://www.hawaiianslackkeyguitarfestivals.com/
For the 2008 uke festival date, contact Roy Sakuma via his website: http://www.roysakuma.net/
This last site has what I think should be named "pop-up noise" -- just as annoying as those danged pop-ads that some websites foist on me!! When I'm logged on, I'm listening to music...my music, the stuff I wanna hear. Sites that decide I should hear THEIR music instead, are soooooooooooo irritating.
Okay, that's my grumble for today!
