I was wondering if anyone knows this particular song. It's the one that was composed by the Malacas'. I found the lyrics on huapala and wanted to know if anyone has recorded it or if any of you have heard it. I'd like to learn the melody.
Natalie Kamau`u and Mahaka Sons both do nice renditions of this popular song. I'm sure there are other folks who have done it, but they are just the ones that come to mind. It's a nice mele. - M

I play a version of Ke Aloha that I learned from Ray Kane's first Dancing Cat album Punahele. I do not know whether it is the version that Jesse thinks is classic or not. Ray Kane actually plays five songs on this cut (#4) He starts with Ke Aloha, and after playing 4 other songs returns to it in the end. Texas Jim
