Well I guess it is another eatery to add to the growing list of eateries in this part of the world. In Honolulu look or Teddy's Bigger Burger near the zoo. It is a worthwhile endeavor. Or next to City Mill in Kaimuki the best teri-beef sandwich ever. Only get parking for 4 cars so you need to plan the trip so you can get one sandwich. |

Andy, (Don't include me on this one since I won last month -- although still waiting for the CD) Did I give you my address?

Count me in on the giveaway! Both are on my list of ones to get soon.

My intro to Tommy's was, of course, the Mecca at Beverly and Rampart at 3am (corner grill, of course). I used to live at 1st and Hoover back in the 70's, and me or my sweetie would sneak off and the other would sit with the sleeping kids, and bring 'em back for a late nighter chased down by cheap wine. I just couldn't get over there this time, but the discovery of the L&L in Santa Monica made up for it! |

Tommy's at Beverly and Rampart... the best. Back in the late 70's when I was about 18 I worked as a "grease man" collecting used cooking oil from resturaunts for rendering. Tommy's was my 1st stop on Tuesday mornings at 4:30 am. Breakfast was a chili-cheseburger and a pint of milk. That kickstarted the day. |
