Aloha Kakou:
My name is Palika Enos. I reside with Bill Tapia in Southern CA. I also have a home on Whidbey Island that I frequent.
Would love to kanikapila with anyone in the area.

Pat, Good to see you Sunday. I checked your email status at Moonlight Beach. Is it working now? If not, your email client may be IDg inbound mail from MBUS as SPAM and you don't see it. Other members have reported the same problem with their email clients. A Hui Hou, |

Aloha and welcome to the forum, Palika! When you visit your place on Whidbey Island you might check out an active group in Seattle. Check the Kanikapila Forum link titled Seattle Area Experiment. |

Aloha Isaac:
Yes, I have jammed with you on the East Coast, and here in Southern California. Yu da best!
When Bill Tapia and I recently were at the Diamond Head Theater last month, we met another one of your Virginia Hawaiian musicians. I forget his name: not too tall Filipino/Hawaiian. He said he really enjoyed Bill's concert.
Wally Beck and I are going to get together for a week on Whidbey Island late July. We hope to meet up with some of the local musicians to kanikapila.
A hui hou and malama pono, Pat Palika Enos |

Mahalo John. Maybe you and I could get together. I'm basically a uke player, but do enough ki ho'alu to back my singing. |

Hey, Pat, I see you're a '61 Castle grad. I would have gone there (I was raised in He'eia) but my family moved to Kailua the summer between 6th and 7th grade, so I'm a '63 Kailua graduate. Let me know when you do visit your Whidbey place and maybe we can schedule a get together. I'm in Olympia, a bit far for anything quick, but with some notice I'm sure I could get there. I play just a little bit of ukulele and a little more ki ho'alu and I'm not very good at singing.....but I enjoy myself anyway! I've had so many major happenings in my life since we moved here, mostly not good, that I haven't been able to make it up to play with the Seattle group just yet myself. |
Aloha, John A. |
