This is ver touching. Please red this little blurb that the poster put on You Tube. Music is a very big part of many peoples' lives.
This is my father singing the Kamehameha School fight song for his classmates (Class of '55). My father had a severe stroke about 4 years ago and wasn't expected to make it. Because of his incredible stubborness and tenacity (Navy masterchief), he is able to do many of the things that the doctors told us that he would never do again. He was the leader of his Hawaiian musical group for many years and he still enjoys listening to and sometimes singing Hawaiian music. Troll commenters... don't make me have to hunt you down and kick you in the okole. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXJj0eLmPU8

Here is our friend Jesse Tinsley, with another entry that should be on that CD that he needs to start making, so we can have his music playing in the car or wherever. Jesse, brah, you are so good! Ma`anei Mai `Oe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGTOwndWzT0

Bill, were you kidding when you wrote your first post in this topic, or did you seriously have no clue what I was talking about?

Jesse, I really think you could do it. I'll bet others on here, like Wanda, would agree with me. I have faith in you. You go bra!

`Alika, I had no clue. It's not just because I am generally clueless. I do believe you are the first person in the universe to abbreviate that thing.

However, I agree that Jesse could win that thing. With flying colors.

It would be a dream to try one of the falsetto contests, but I'm not a very versatile falsetto and my good songs tend to be ones that wind up and jump to falsetto quickly, like "I Kona" and "Kaneohe"; not the ones with narrow transitions, e.g., "Pua Lilia" and "Ua Like No A Like". My personal goal to just hear and play with some of the great singers of today, including our own Bill W. and just enjoy the music. I always thought music and contests don't belong in the same sentence. (My kid got 11th in the small fry division at the National Fiddle Contest)

Why don't both you guys come over here? Haha! I know we'd have a lot of fun jamming and/or just talking story!
