I remember seeing an episode of "Hawaiian Classics" on OC16 that featured slack key. I think it had Makana playing the Poi Song, Cyril Pahinui playing Hi`ilawe, Sonny Lim, and Troy Fernandez. I taped it but when we moved I think it got thrown away! :( That was such a good episode. I was hoping to learn those songs. Anyone know where I can find a copy or if they sell DVDs of that show?
Not only did they not make those great shows available on DVD, OC16 stopped the show about a year ago -- some re-runs show up now and then, but the show is no longer on the OC16 regular schedule.
