Some real goodies here. Really swell. Don't take my word for it -- go look see for yourself.
You Tube 3/29/08
Our dear friend, Jesse Tinsley – Nani – and his playing and singing are indeed Nani.. I love the ha`ina hou. Jesse, Brah – Time for that CD already. I can get one for Paul for Father’s Day. http://youtube.com/watch?v=yqHLV1-1ics
Ledward doing Koke`e from the new CD of him and Mike Ka`awa – video is very poor, but oh, the music. Now you can see why I think this CD is amazing and why I think Ledward is amazing. http://youtube.com/watch?v=RRlHgDbDeak
Swing Street Café – dunno who da heck – but very nice and mellow – Jupiter - http://youtube.com/watch?v=7EIKCq_NcLc
Sir Duke & Braddah Jay – Pu`u Anahulu – WOW! These two gentlemen are superb – great sounds from just a guitar and an `ukulele. http://youtube.com/watch?v=f5pQAu0dcwU Same guys – Hi`ilawe - http://youtube.com/watch?v=Ysr0c4rmYTA Same Guys – Radio Hula/Kealoha medley - http://youtube.com/watch?v=FOCZL4UwteI
Slackkey808 – Radio Hula & Moana Chimes - http://youtube.com/watch?v=eIIJOBgCDUk
Uncle Raymond Kane, George Kuo & Milton Lau at the BOH Kiho`alu Festival – 1986 – Ua Noho Au a Kupa - http://youtube.com/watch?v=U2AFrSRXen0 Musta been a hot day – Uncle Raymond asks if everyone is wela.
Snakeboy???? - http://youtube.com/watch?v=jZFn7MghNJw He is honoring Kaua`I with these two original songs. Kind of reminds me of Brozman.
Rob Yamanoha – Sugar Cane – kinda jazzy - http://youtube.com/watch?v=St_-vZusLvE
Aoogah Aoogah – Ding ding ding – Alert Alert - - Now this is a treasure – Cyril playing with Arlo Guthrie on some TV show, which I never heard of. There is some mighty fine guitar picking. Here is the blurb on it: This is a clip from "The Byrds of Paradise" series back in 1995. Arlo played "Alan Moon." Cyril Pahinui is playing guitar with him., Tim Busfield played Professor Byrd. This was the last episode. Sadly, it was canceled. Arlo closed with this beautiful song that he composed for the show. http://youtube.com/watch?v=CoZk0_g_Vd8

And here are two more that I found on the topic of `ukulele playing. Some motley assemblage of `ukulele players. One named Jake, one named Byron Yasui, one named Benny Chong, one named Tolentino. Oh, and some little teeny-bopper named Tiamane Gardner. Holy mackanolie. These folks can strum and pick dat uke. Uiha!
Part 1 - Featuring them all playing part of "Ku`u Pete" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HZ_CLnd8lU Part 2 - Jake soloing, Tiamane soloing, and all playing Noho Paipai. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSfNgIdvNKo
