Aloha. Did any of the members of the Recording Academy PNW chapter receive any notice, by email or snailmail, regarding upcoming Board of Governor's elections? I didn't and neither did at least one other Hawai‘i member. This is the second year and the row that the nomination process has slipped by without my receiving notice, and it's starting to get annoying. There is nothing on the chapter website, either. Fellow members, please chime in.

I did, by snail-mail, here in Seattle.
Reminds me of how I got missed by HARA for the preliminary round of Hōkū voting last year - so I know how angrily frustrating it can be.
(I will, however, use this as an opportunity to note that in the past year, I have seen tremendous improvement as to how HARA communicates with its members - for which I am grateful.) |

One of the reasons I switched to San Francisco Chapter, other than that's the area in which I live. |

Mahalo Gregg, I haven't gotten mail from home forwarded to us in NZ in a while so perhaps that is the cause. I would appreciate those kinds of notices being emailed and also posted on the website. I've emailed Ben London.
I appreciate your comments regarding the improvement in communication from HARA. We're trying very hard to open up the channels of communication with members, and monitoring and replying to discussion and questions in this forum has contributed to that success, I believe.
