How exciting this is for me! One of my girlfriends that I used to work with called me this morning. She wants to know some good Hawaiian music to buy other than Iz, which she has already. I made some suggestions to her and told her about mele.com where she can listen to the selections before she buys. This is cool. It only takes one more person, who then tells someone else about the swell music, and on and on. Hey, this could be the start of a revolution. Not only that, but she said they are going O`ahu in September. They will be staying at Hale Koa and she wanted recommendations on tours to take to learn better the culture and history and places to take in good TRADITIONAL Hawaiian music. I told her they have to go see Martin dem at the Marriott.
Maybe I'll tell them to hook up with Jay and Duke, eh?
This is just exciting news to me. The music is spreadiing. Ui-ha.
