Gerat uke, Rich! BTW, Bernie Simeona is looking for a tenor, not too expensive. Look him up. |

I have a cheap Chinese tenor `ukulele, which is merely adequate (and which I don't play often). I've played Rich's `ukulele, and believe me, they sound as good as they look.
Boy, Rich, you must really like your dentist! |

...and each one seems to be an improvement on the previous. A great skill for a luthier - listening to comments and suggestions from those who play, and incorporating those thoughts into what the luthier wishes to create.
Rich: have you decided to sell any of your earlier ones, or are they all destined for the Likeke Museum? What number is this dental model? |

Retro, they are for the Likeke museum. The dental model is number 6, number 7 is in finishing stage: a cocobolo/spruce concert with sound port. I'll post pics of it when done. I fee like I have arrived at a nice design and good sound thanks to suggestions from you and others and combining the best elements from a several ukulele plans. |

Don't get me wrong about Chinese, Java etc. instruments. Some make amazingly good instruments for the money. Custom builders usually can't compete in this space. I put a lot of extras and customer wants into a custom instrument to justify the price. |
