There it is in the nutshell from Ledward no less: "Anything you can play on the guitar you can play on the ukulele." However, the uku cannot match the resonance, sustain and bass of the guitar. Ukulele Slack Key book was written for uku players who do not play the guitar but want to enjoy playing slack key tunes in the alternate tunings that we call slack key.

Slackers keep it loose!

Thank you, Uncle, for your generosity. I'll have a review of this sweet album in the September "Northwest Hawai`i Times," and it will certainly get airplay on the "Hawai`i Radio Connection." Even if listeners know nothing about the groundbreaking concept, it's a lovely album to listen to on its own.
