Aloha all :-)
I spoke with Hula records and I was told becasue economy is not doing well and Hawai'i is in a sort of recession, my CD will not be released at this time. They are going to release much more famous artists at the moment. So to all the Seattle people, we gotta wait a little linger. However, I will probably talk with Mr. Flip McDermot and see if he can run a short run for those in Seattle that want to hear my DD..songs like Ho'oheno A'o Pi'ilani, Green Carnation, etc.
Check out Falsetto Winners IV, I have four tracks there...Alika (my winning song at the Falsetto 2002 contest, He u'i, Ho'onanea, and K.H.B.C.
OH YEAH!!! See you all at LIVE ALOHA at Seattle Center on September 7. I willbe playing music with Aunty Manu Lono and her halau.

Gary - I am sure you are disappointed, as are your friendsd and family. Hula Records is making a marketing mistake. Maybe they should listen to their customers.
I am way bummed, especially since we have been teased and tantalized by listening to Falsetto Winners IV. Brah, there are more folks who like your music than just folks in the Seattle area.
Just remember, Gary. No matter if you are on a CD or not, your voice is beautiful and powerful and brings people joy. |

Gary, just curious -- did you record with Hula, or did you bring an independent recording to them for distribution?
If the case is the latter, you might want to shop it around to some of the other music distribution companies on O`ahu.... |

Eh, Kalei! Now I'm back from vaction and almost done with my medical issues, we goin' into da studio soon to make an Oddah Guyz CD. That includes you! Stay tuned. |
