Been lurking in the forums for a couple of years now and finally joined.

Currently picked up and working on Ozzie Kotani's first (beginner) book and having fun just practicing. I mostly like the fact that the lessons build upon themselves.

The difficult part, is finding anyone in my local area that plays as well (also). Not much activity that I can find outside of the Bay Area.

Currently playing a Martin D-15 and looking for either a Baby Taylor or Martin (small body) to cart to work with me. I'll cruise the past forums for info if either have been reviewed.

But so far, lovin' it in here.

Cheers,
Karlow

about 40 miles. Definitely closer than the bay area.

Thanks,
Karlow

Hi Karlow34,
JLSulle' here in Vacaville. We have monthly get togethers here at the local coffee shop which you may have noticed in the kanikapila postings. I can always make time to play music. Perhaps we can get together sometime. Would be glad to share anything I know anytime. Aloha, Jerry

Sounds awesome. I will look into those postings and maybe I can drop the wife off to do some shopping and I can see what's up.

Mahalo,

San Diego would be about 10-12 hours by car, of course SouthWest could get me there in about an hour though.

My 7 year old is my traveling partner, so I have to take that into consideration as well.

practicing more, now I'm getting motivated.
