Came across some YouTube videos of a tahitian ukulele competion in the Cook Islands. See the links below:

I've also updated some info in the Tahitian Uke pdf document. Threre are 6 songs now with chords and links to video or audio to hear what they sound like.

Here is a link to a pic of my ukes:

Extremely fun, thanks!

That's what I love about the Cooks-- a truly wide-ranging song bag: "In Heaven there is no beer.."

Take that, Kory!

Not to speak for marzullo, but Momilani's sells them.

I also have one of Mike Ayer's Tahitian ukes, but it doesn't really sound like a Tahitian uke (imho). It's nice quality and workmanship though. I would order one from Kanua Ukulele. He's in New Zealand but ships to the U.S. and his prices are reasonable.

Thanks for the info. I checked out momilanis and saw a picture of the tahitian ukulele. The ukes looks very well made. I was just wondering about the sound hole it seems a little strange that a bowl is sticking out in the back.

Anyway, Wow! Kanua prices are reasonable.
