This is very exciting! From a Hawaii Music Live press release:

Sunday, October 12, 2008 - 3:00-7:00pm
For the love of the Ukulele and Hawaiian Music, owners Smiley and Janet Kai have created a place for us to try out, learn and play ukulele! "Its so terrific that we now have a place to go, a resource and a place to purchase that special gift for our loved ones".

Currently representing KoAloha Ukuleles, Kanile'a Ukuleles and Ohana Ukuleles, Smiley and Janet will help you find the right fit, look and sound for your playing style, ability and budget. Accessories and specialty gift items are also available. Located in San Jose Japantown, they hope it to be a place for the community and a place for friends to meet, learn and share.

Join them as they celebrate the store's GRAND OPENING with music, food and give-aways!
