FWIW, via Netflix I'm working my way through the final season of Magnum, P.I. (season 8, circa 1987). Anyway, I often stumble across some decent clips of Hawaiian music in these old Magnum episodes. Check out disc #2, episode 1: Opens with Palani Vaughn singing He Pua Wehiwa, playing an autoharp (dancer is the main focus); also good shots of Frank Hewitt and a Halau prforming. Both get credits.

Wasn't there an episode of MacGyver where he made a ukulele out of a couple of coconuts and a dead cat? |
Craig My goal is to be able to play as well as people think I can. |
