Further, Craig, I've since discussed this Ukulele with various people within the BMG fraternity and they all concur that the lack of symmetry in the headstock is also and indication of pre 1920

Hi Basil, I just saw one of these a few days ago in Island Guitars in Honolulu. It was from the '30s, in similar condition to yours (maybe not quite as nice), and had a price tag of $1,000. Thanks Craig I'll do that.. I like your motto, over here in the United Kingdom we say "All the Gear and No Idea" Pretty much sums up the average conventioneer.. (click the link for a good example of how easily the Transatlantic Syndrome can rear it's ugly head..)
